Lt. Landsem oversees the operation of the detectives who conduct follow-up investigation in a wide variety of cases. The cases include: death, assault, burglary, theft, robbery, fraud, narcotics violations, or other major incidents. Investigators are responsible for case processing, referral to the prosecutor’s office, and trial testimony.

In addition to case supervision, Lt. Landsem assists the training coordinator, tobacco and alcohol compliance checks, gang investigations and information, and represents the Sheriff as his designee on several committees.
