The Warrants &
Transport Unit takes into custody persons wanted on arrest
warrants, processes new warrants, transports persons apprehended in
other jurisdictions, delivers sentenced prisoners to the control of the
Minnesota Department of Corrections at various facilities, and
transfers prisoners as ordered for court appearances and other
appointments.
