is no charge!
Clay county does not charge a fee at the collection facility
because we want to encourage people to bring in their hazardous waste
rather than pollute the environment.
It
is easy and convenient to dispose of hazardous waste from your home in
an environmentally responsible way. Clay County has a permanent Household
Hazardous Waste Facility in Moorhead which operates from April
through October each
year.
If
you can’t use it up, give it away or store properly at home for later
use, then bring it to the Household Hazardous Waste Facility.
Bring
Your ID
You
must live in Clay County to use the Household Hazardous Waste Facility.
Bring proof of County residency (i.e., driver’s license).
