Food, Beverage & Lodging Inspections

Inspections and licensing of food, beverage, and lodging facilities in Clay County are coordinated by Environmental Health.

Before any new construction or remodeling can begin on a facility, plans must be submitted for review and approval by Clay County Environmental Health.

All plumbing plans must be submitted to the Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry.  Contact the Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry by calling 651.284.5067 for more plumbing plan review information. Their mailing address is:

A satisfactory plumbing inspection is necessary prior to licensing.
