The Clay County Law Library was established to make available, without charge, substantial and relevant legal materials for use by the judges and the courts of Minnesota, city, county and state officials, members of the bar, and all inhabitants of Clay County, Minnesota. 
Minn. Stat. § 134A.01 et seq.

The main collection of the Clay County Law Library is located at the Clay County Courthouse and is available for public use during the hours listed above.

The Clay County Law Library also owns, and makes available to the public, additional materials which are located at Minnesota State University Moorhead.  This location provides daytime and evening hours during the week, as well as availability during the weekends.  See below for detailed contact information and hours.

Monday through Thursday:  7:30 a.m. to 11:45 p.m.
Friday:  7:30 a.m. to 4:45 p.m.

Sunday:  1:00 p.m. to 11:45 p.m.
