Traffic Citations
You Must Appear in Court if:
- You plead not guilty
- You plead guilty and wish to offer an explanation
- The officer has alleged you endangered persons/property
Plea of Guilty and Waiver
You are advised that payment of a fine to the Violations Bureau:

Is a plea of guilty to the offense charged on the citation;

Is an admission that you understand and voluntarily waive the following rights:
to a trial to the court or to a jury
to be represented by counsel
to be presumed innocent until proven guilty
to either remain silent or testify on your own behalf
Payment Without Court Appearance

| 1-10 mph over speed limit | $125.00 |
| 11-14 | $135.00 |
| 15-19 | $145.00 |
| 20-25 | $225.00 |
| 26-30 | $285.00 |
| 31 mph and above over limit/unless endangered checked | $385.00 |

| Stop sign or stop light | $135.00 |
| Expired registration | $115.00 |
| Seat belt violation | $110.00 |
| Child restraint violation | $135.00 |
| Open bottle: passenger, 1st violation | $235.00 |
| Minor consuming, 1st violation | $185.00 |
| Window tint | $135.00 |
| Fail to move left | $135.00 |
Not all violations are listed here. If you have questions about your ticket, please call the court. Also, please be advised that if the officer gives you an incorrect fine amount, you are liable for the correct amount as determined by the court.
