Clay County Flood Mitigation Buyout Homes and Accessory Buildings for Sale

Bids will be opened on the third Thursday of each month at 1:00 p.m. in Meeting Room B, Clay County Court House.

Upcoming Sale Dates:

• May 17, 2012

  • All homes are posted on the Clay County Web Site
     

• Details on the June and July homes will be posted on this web site as the homes become available for viewing.
   

• June 21, 2012

  • Homes to be sold in June:
    • 2,332 square foot rambler built in 1968
    • 1,568 manufactured home built in 1997
    • 1,152 square foot rambler built in 1971
    • 1,308 square foot home built in 1898
       

• July 19, 2012 (Last Sale)

  • Homes to be sold in July:

    • 960 square foot rambler built in 1970
    • 1,904 manufactured home built in 1999

Modified Sale Rules:

Clay County made two changes in the sale rules for future sales: 

1. Bidding Procedures: Staff will identify the highest bid for the property and all bids that are equal to or greater than 75% of the highest bid. The highest bidder and any other bidders whose bid is equal to or greater than 75% of the highest bid will have the opportunity to increase their bids in a “Live Auction” format. 

2. Relocation and Moving of Buildings, Materials: The deadline to move buildings has been extended to July 31, 2012 for homes sold after March 30, 2012.

All interested parties may view the property by appointment only. Contact Greg Anderson, Cormorant Realty at 701-238-6548 to schedule an appointment.
